Missions

How then can they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the Good News of good things!” Romans 10:14-15

We are excited about what God is doing through our Missions Ministry as we serve together. We believe missions starts at home as we disciple our members to live on mission in their community. Missions is so much more than going overseas for a week. Missions also includes finding partnerships, coming alongside church planters, traveling to other states for ministry, training and equipping people to better share their faith, witnessing to your neighbors, serving our community of Covington and Tipton County, financially giving if you are unable to go, and so much more.

As Christians God has called us to be His witnesses in “Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8. The beginning of that verse starts out by saying we will receive the power of the Holy Spirit. If you are saved, you have the Holy Spirit living inside of you and are called, mandated, by God to be His witnesses and serve Him wherever He calls.
